Samantha Dickson

I love how Yoga can be for everyone, all abilities, all body shapes, all ages etc.  The practice of Yoga can create many benefits both on and off the mat and I feel very privileged being able to teach and pass on the gift of Yoga.  Teaching has fueled my passion for Yoga even more and over the next few years I intend to continue with my learning and study.

I have been practising Yoga for the past 17 years.  I enrolled on the YTTC Level One Yoga training course in October 2016 with the primary goal of learning more about the philosophy of Yoga and to continue to develop my personal practice and to pass this on to others.

The course, whilst being very challenging at times due to working full time as a Specialist Bariatric nurse and a busy family and home life, was a wonderful experience.  I learnt how Yoga has the power to enrich one’s life particularly in today’s fast paced world.  It fits in so well with my passion and interest in health, nutrition, well being and nature.  I even discovered it assisted in my day job as a Bariatric Nurse.
